NEON DESERT MUSIC FESTIVAL 2019

Neon Desert Music Festival is excited to unveil today the full music lineup for the ninth annual multi-genre festival event, which will return this Memorial Day weekend on Saturday, May 25, and Sunday, May 26, in the heart of downtown El Paso, Texas. GA, VIP, and Platinum VIP tickets are on sale now at www.neondesert.com.

Neon Desert prides itself on being one of the first and most successful major multicultural music festivals in the country through a continued emphasis on booking mainstream American acts alongside acclaimed international and Latin performers. This year’s lineup continues the beloved tradition with an eclectic mix of headliners like Pittsburgh-born, chart-topping emcee Wiz Khalifa, who continues to perform in support of his sixth studio album, Rolling Papers 2, released last summer to acclaim from critics and fans alike; Canadian-born DJ/producer Rezz, whose album Certain Kind of Magic released last fall as a follow-up to her 2017 debut album, Mass Manipulation, which won the highly-coveted “Best Electronic Album” at the 2018 Juno Awards; R&B singer/songwriter Miguel, who will perform in support of his latest album, War & Leisure, which was nominated for “Best Urban Contemporary Album” at the 2019 Grammy Awards and features the certified platinum hit “Sky Walker”; Atlanta-based rapper Young Thug, who recently won “Song of the Year” at the 2019 Annual Grammy Awards for his songwriting contributions to “This Is America” by Childish Gambino; Los Angeles-based DJ/producer Steve Aoki, who is gearing up to release his sixth studio album later this year, Neon Future IV; and rapper/singer/producer Tory Lanez, who was recently nominated for the Fan Choice Award and Best Rap Recording at the 2019 Juno Awards for his third album, LoVE mE Now, which reached the number one spot on the Billboard Rap Chart, and whose Spanish language project, El Agua, as well as his mixtapes, Chixtape V and New Toronto 3, are expected to be released later this year.

Neon Desert will also bring to West Texas some of the biggest artists in Latin music today, which include Latin Grammy Award-nominated singer/songwriter Kali Uchis, whose debut studio album, Isolation, was released last year to widespread acclaim; Puerto Rican reggaetón artist Don Omar, who is oft-labeled as the “King of Kings of Reggaetón Music”; LA-based psychedelic, soul, funk, tropicalia band Chicano Batman; and Grammy Award-nominated singer-songwriter Ximena Sariñana, who previously performed at Neon Desert in 2015.

Additional performers include Tyga, whose 2018 single “Taste” was arguably the most popular viral song of the year; Gunna, who is signed to Young Thug’s YSL imprint and released his full-length debut album, Drip or Drown 2, just last month to rave reviews; indie-rock group Dashboard Confessional, currently touring in support of their seventh studio album, Crooked Shadows, released last year; DJ/producer Deorro, who released his long-awaited debut album, Good Evening, in late 2017; LA-based rap collective Shoreline Mafia; rock and electro-pop band A R I Z O N A, who dropped their newest single, “Find Someone,” in February 2019; Lovelytheband, best known for their 2018 smash single, “Broken,” the longest-running song on the Billboard alternative chart in its three-decade history, spending its 66th week on the list as of March 2; and Houston-based Grammy Award-nominated rapper Paul Wall.

In total, 40 music performers from El Paso and across the globe will take the stage at Neon Desert Music Festival 2019, with the full lineup listed below:
