“in order to give the festival the best opportunity to grow”

INDEX FEST organizers have announced that the 4th edition of Index Fest will now take place in the Spring of 2016.  This decision was made to move Index from the busy Fall calendar in order to give the festival the best opportunity to grow.

Index was created in 2012 to help fill the need for a nationally recognized music festival in the heart of Dallas.  Now in its fourth year, Index organizers hope to continue to shine a spotlight on Dallas by producing thoughtful, quality events with highly curated programs featuring both emerging bands and established musicians from around the country, as well as showcasing the best talent from right here in Dallas.  The dates for Index 2016 will be announced by November 10th.

This change comes after careful consideration,” says CEO Matthew Harber of Spune Productions. “We spent this past year focused on building strategic partnerships and securing additional resources so that Index can continue to provide the best, quality event festival-goers have come to expect while also attracting a new audience to the fast growing music community of Dallas.”

This move will also enable Spune Productions to focus on a very busy event calendar this Fall, including events like Crowdsource’s The Reunion Fest that was announced earlier this week, and three editions of the growing Untapped Festival which will occur in Houston, Dallas and San Antonio.”

Passes for the 2016 event will continue to be available at early bird prices until the first round of bands are officially announced.  All who purchased Early Bird tickets for the rescheduled September 2526, 2015 event will be directly contacted.  As a gesture of appreciation to INDEX supporters, existing festival pass holders will also be given the option to secure complementary passes to The Reunion and Untapped Dallas.  Updated information will be available on the Index Festival website.  Refunds will also be issued on request.
