Trivium and Tremonti  have announced they will co-headline the 2015 HardDrive Live tour with special guest Thousand Foot Krutch.  On it’s sevent year the tour kicks off in Fort Lauderdale, Fl, on Sept. 9 as part of the 33 city tour which  will run through the end of October with more dates expected to be announced soon.

Trivium are still touring behind their 2013 album Vengeance Falls, while Mark Tremonti just released his second disc under the Tremonti band name. Cauterize came out in May, and you can buy that album on Amazon.

Tremonti bassist Wolfgang Van Halen recorded Cauterize with the group, but fans should expect to see Tanner Keegan up onstage for at least part of this trek. The band has been touring with Keegan, so Wolfgang can fulfill his commitments to his other group, Van Halen. Right now, Van Halen have tour dates listed through Oct. 4.

Both Tremonti and Trivium hail from Orlando, Fla., and released statements about getting to share the 2015 HardDrive bill. “We in Trivium are incredibly excited to be going on tour with Tremonti,” said singer Matt Heafy. “It’s awesome to see two fellow metal and rock bands that are grown from metal, grown from the same bands, grown from the same hometown, to be able to go out and show the world our own brand of metal and show the world what we love to do and how we love to do it. We can’t wait to see everyone out there; we know it’s going to be a great time!”

Exclusive fan club pre-sale tickets for the 2015 HardDrive Live tour will start tomorrow (July 22) over on MarkTremonti.com and Trivium.org. General ticket sales begin Thursday (July 23) at 10AM on TicketMaster.com.
