At long last Dark Horse Darling is back with their new EP “Only Time Will Tell.” The band has been riddled with problems during this recording process, but it was well worth the wait. Dark Horse Darling has stepped up both on a recording front as well as songwriting.
“The Skeleton Key” opens the EP acting as a punch in the face, a wake up of sorts. As the EP plays on the songs take a more melodic turn. Songs like “Mistakes” and “Sleeping On the Floor,” though still brutal, use more clean vocals than screaming. There is an groove that keeps the listener moving from start to finish. “Only Time Will Tell” is a remarkable piece of work from a remarkable band.”
