In the coming weeks we’ll be highlighting varied artists performing at Hand Drawn Records inaugural “Not-South By” showcase. First up, Arlington’s Bad Mountain.

Bad Mountain is the solo project of The Roaming Soldiers guitarist, Jesse Anderson. The southern-fried act is brimming with a vintage-aesthetic; back-of-the-telephone-booth vocals and sauntering guitar plucks. In the live setting, Bad Mountain occasionally borrows members from other noteworthy Dallas bands, Dovetail, Somebody’s Darling and Drama Queen.
