With chilling piano and a gorgeously haunting voice, Irish singer-songwriter Róisín O takes a minimalist approach to the music on her newest single, “Hold On”, and its video is equally sparse.  A stark narrative of two lowly service workers, and their could-be romance tiptoe about the dim office space like passing liners in the early morning light, with results as unpretentious as they are memorable.

Róisín O’s debut album The Secret Life of Blue will be releasing internationally on October 4th. If this single is any indicator of the full project, then we’re going to go ahead and recommend a #PushPlay.
