RATING: “PUSH PLAY”
Former frontman, Jesse Leach, returns for Killswitch Engage’s finest album, Disarm The Descent. There is an unmistakable drive present that has been missing on the last three albums.
This is metal-core at its best, and these are pioneers of the genre, once again proving why they have had such a successful career. There is apparent conviction in every word and accuracy in every note. Lyrically, Disarm The Descent is a positive album, but the music bids one to start their own fight club.
Metal. Core. Pioneers. “PUSH PLAY”.
